Compare the M.A.S.K. 40th Edition High Tech Helicopter and the Thunderhawk Hologram Edition on price, finish, availability, and display appeal to decide which fits your collection.
Quick answer
Choose the M.A.S.K. 40th Edition High Tech Helicopter if you want an in-stock, dual-mode aircraft with a black and gold metallic finish and a lower effective price of $66.00 (compared to $110.00). Choose the M.A.S.K. Thunderhawk Hologram Edition if you prefer a hologram finish and are willing to preorder at $48.75 (compared to $75.00) for a Q3 2026 ship date. Both are limited collector releases, but only the High Tech Helicopter is available to ship now.
What each vehicle actually offers
The M.A.S.K. 40th Edition High Tech Helicopter is a dual-mode aircraft piloted by Miles “Wolf” Mayhem. It converts from stealth helicopter to high-speed jet fighter in a few simple steps and comes in a black and gold metallic finish with dual laser cannons. The M.A.S.K. Thunderhawk Hologram Edition is a separate release with a hologram finish, scheduled to ship in Q3 2026. The Thunderhawk listing does not include transformation details or accessory counts, so if those features matter to you, treat the absence as a gap rather than assuming they match the High Tech Helicopter.
Price and availability: the practical difference
The High Tech Helicopter is listed at $66.00, reduced from a $110.00 comparison price, and is available to order now. The Thunderhawk Hologram Edition is listed at $48.75, reduced from a $75.00 comparison price, but it is a preorder that will not ship until Q3 2026. Preorder terms state that your order will not ship until all preorder items on that order are in stock, and orders cannot be split or combined. If you want the Thunderhawk sooner, place it on a separate order from any in-stock items.
Display and collection fit
The High Tech Helicopter’s black and gold metallic finish reads as a premium anniversary piece, while the Thunderhawk’s hologram finish is a different visual lane. Because the Thunderhawk is a preorder, you can reserve it without paying the full amount today, but you will wait until Q3 2026 to display it. If you already own other M.A.S.K. 40th anniversary vehicles, the High Tech Helicopter is the one that can join your shelf immediately.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Immediate vs delayed: The High Tech Helicopter is in stock now; the Thunderhawk Hologram Edition is a preorder that ships Q3 2026. If you want it on your shelf this season, pick the High Tech Helicopter.
- Finish and style: The High Tech Helicopter has a black and gold metallic finish; the Thunderhawk has a hologram finish. Match the finish to the rest of your M.A.S.K. display rather than chasing both.
- Order mechanics: The Thunderhawk preorder cannot be split or combined with other items, so mixing it with in-stock products delays the whole order. Place the Thunderhawk on its own order if you also want in-stock items.
